Atomatic, in partnership with our sister company, Control Engineering Corporation, have been primary partners with Alerton since 2004. During this time, we’ve installed Alerton systems in scores of Chicago area buildings, replacing many competing control systems with new, highly capable, BACnet based control systems. Alerton with its parent company, Honeywell, have been on the cutting edge of the building automation industry for many years and will be for many years to come.

Alerton System Architecture

Compass is a powerful, dynamic interface enabling users to monitor and control their facilities from anywhere, at any time. It incorporates the latest browser technology and is truly the marriage of current technology and building automation. Ascent offers users an unparalleled user experience along with the ability to be backwards compatible with all of Alerton’s previous controllers.

The Alerton Ascent Control module or ACM features new and old Alerton capabilities along with those of the Tridium Niagara Framework. The ACM supports hundreds if controllers, multiple communication networks, and enhanced features.

The newly designed Microset 4 is like no other wall sensor on the market. It senses and simultaneously displays room and outside air temperatures, relative humidity, fans and CO2–all in a single, state-of-the-art sensor. The vivid touchscreen, crisp edge-to-edge glass, small bezel, elegant layered construction, and quality stainless steel ventilation detail are all designed for beauty and durability

Alerton’s VLC field controller line are versatile, fully programmable, and completely native BACnet. Each controller supports a range of applications with a wide array of point counts.

Alerton’s Central equipment controllers are ideal to run complex algorithms to control critical equipment, central plants, and large air handling units. These controllers are completely native BACnet and includes features such as time clocks, hand-off auto switches, and I/O expansion capability.

Alerton’s IBEX controllers, although obsolete, still integrate the newest system. Due to the robust nature of these products, many of these controllers are still around. This allows us to do a phased upgrade, instead of a large capital cost up front.

Alerton’s branded Tridium Niagra Family controllers allow easy integration. With the addition of Tridium drivers, you can add multiple controllers; regardless of manufacture or type of communication.
