ComEd Smart Ideas

Atomatic is a selected member of Commonwealth Edison’s Trade Ally Partner Program. Our account managers are fully aware of ComEd’s energy efficiency programs, including their incredibly successful rebate program. We work hard to educate our customers on any potential electricity rebates, as well as saving them money through energy efficiency upgrades. ComEd offers rebates on variable frequency drives, lighting upgrades, building controls upgrades, and many other electrical efficiency upgrades. Atomatic has experienced exceptional success with handling ComEd Smart Ideas rebates for our customers.

Natural Gas Incentives

Nicor, North Shore and Peoples Gas offer energy efficiency incentives and rebates for customers looking for high efficiency gas equipment upgrades. Eligible equipment includes everything from hot water heaters, steam tramps, furnaces and other heating equipment, to commercial grade cooking equipment and control upgrades. We work directly with the natural gas utilities to try and make the rebate process as painless as possible for our customers.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 A tax deduction of $1.80 per square foot is available to owners of new or existing buildings who install (1) interior lighting; (2) building envelope, or (3) heating, cooling, ventilation, or hot water systems that reduce the building’s total energy and power cost by 50% or more in comparison to a building meeting minimum requirements set by ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2001.
